counselling boys and men who have experienced violence

After the exchange of experts in Vienna in 2021, Dresden in 2022 and Liechtenstein in 2023, we are this time in Luxembourg, hosted by our friendly colleagues from the association infoMann - actTogether. The focus is on how boys and men who have experienced violence can be supported and how counselling approaches in the violence protection system can be further developed.

In line with the proven concept of the previous professional exchanges, we will get to know the way the association infoMann - actTogether works and visit local projects for boys and men. Selected participants will present best practices from their projects or organisations. We will focus on the particularities that arise when counselling male victims and the specific approaches that are needed for these target groups.

The focus is on the exchange of experiences among the participants. The possibilities of medium- and long-term cooperation for professional protection against male violence will be explored. Participation in previous exchanges of professionals is not a prerequisite for this round.
